Stop by the Young Reader’s area and make a card and small craft for someone special. This is a drop-in craft, no registration is required.

Summer Reading Program: “Every Hero Has A Story”

June 18 – August 31
Children 4 years old through grade 5 are invited to sign up for our summer reading program featuring exciting programs and great prizes. Sign up begins Wednesday, June 17th. Our summer reading program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the Pawtucket Red Sox, Citizens Bank, Pepsi and Friends of the North Kingstown Free Library.

Ray Ward’s Bwana Iguana

Join us for a fun filled presentation that allows all audience members the opportunity to get up close and interact with each of the animals and gain some knowledge about the mysterious realm of reptiles. Fun is also a big part of the show with Shelly the Flipping Turtle, Chunky the Dancing Lizard, Mellow Yellow the Wonder Python, and many more doing their part to create smiles galore. For ages 4 and up. Registration begins June 1st.

Movie: Big Hero 6

A special bond develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada, when they team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes. (PG 102 minutes) This movie is great for the whole family. Refreshments will be provided. Registration begins June 1st.
