Tenderness
by Robert Cormier

Lori Cranston is a runaway girl with an obsession on a teenage murderer, Eric Poole. Eric killed his mother and his stepdad, or so the police believe. However, the police don’t know about the other murders, the girls he found tenderness with. His dark eyed, dark haired beauties. Eric wants to find tenderness again, and soon.

Lori wants someone she can share tenderness with. She wants to end her obsession with a kiss, for that’s how she ends her other obsessions. But this time it won’t end in a kiss, it will end with much more.

Lori and Eric are thrown together on a journey, where they will either be destroyed or saved.
