HistFiction.net – A web site devoted to authors and books in Historical Fiction.  Includes an author database, hundreds of links to historical fiction sites and links to historical research sites.  Formerly known as Soon's Historical Fiction site.

Historical Novel Society – Founded in 1997 in the United Kingdom, this web site now contains equal coverage of both US and UK authors.

Of Ages Past – The Ring of Historical Fiction – a web ring of sites devoted to home pages of historical fiction authors, e-zines that publish historical fiction, publishing companies that publish historical fiction, and sites that offer historical fiction book reviews.

Dark Echo Horror – a web site devoted to horror literature

Horror World – bills itself as the world’s primary resource for horror literature.   Contains links to horror news, book reviews, and more.

LitGothic - A web guide to all things concerned with literary Gothicism, which includes ghost stories, "classic" Gothic novels and Gothic Fiction.

Literary Criticism - The Internet Public Library - This site contains critical and biographical web sites about authors and their works that can be browsed by author, title, or nationality and literary period.

Literary Map of America - Students from all over the country add writers from their states to the U.S. Literary Map Project.

The Literature Network - Offers searchable online literature for the student, educator, or enthusiast.  Currently includes over 300 full books, 1000 short stories and poems, and 8500 quotations.
