Viewing items checked out, renewing items & placing holds

Logging into your library account— Click on My Library Account. Type in your complete 14-digit library card number with no spaces and hit the <Enter> key.   Once you are logged into your account you can do the following:

View items checked out on your account
· Click on the Items Currently Checked Out link to see a list of items checked out on your account.
· If you have overdue items that have not been returned yet, you will see a running fine total for each overdue item on the Items Checked Out screen.

Renewing items
· From the Items Checked Out screen, you can renew most items that are not overdue.  Call the circulation desk at 294-3306 x3 for renewals of overdue items.
· Click on the Renew All button to renew everything that is checked out on your account.
· If you don’t want to renew everything, click a checkmark in the box to the left of those titles that you would like to renew, then click on the Renew Selected button.
· If an item was renewed, the new due date will appear in the Status column.
· If the item did not renew, the due date will remain the same and the message, “Renew not Allowed” will appear in the status column.  Call the circulation desk if you have any questions.

View your Fines
Click on the Unpaid Fines and Bills link to see the amount of money that you owe for lost items and for fines on items that were overdue when you returned them. This amount does not include the fines that are accruing on overdue items that have not yet been returned.

Access your Holds list
· Click on the Hold link to see a list of items that you have requested and the pickup location for each item.
· Look at the Status column to see which holds are ready to be picked up.
· Click on the Title link to see how many patrons are on the Holds list for a specific title.
· To cancel all holds, click on the “Cancel All” button.
· To cancel a specific hold, click a checkmark into the box to the left of the title and click on the “Update List” button.
