When using online resources from
home, type in your 14-digit library card number without any spaces between the numbers.
Student
Research Center (EBSCO) (available
from home to all NK cardholders)
Provides access to over 180,000 images, including archival/historical images from
Getty Images, current events images from United Press International, and images from the
Motion Picture & Television Archive. Images are formatted for printing and can
also be emailed. To search for images, click on the
Uncheck All button, then click a checkmark under Photos, Maps & Flags and conduct your
search.

E Library provides access to the full text of hundreds of popular magazines and
scholarly journals, dozens of current newspapers and news wires, thousands of television
and radio transcripts, thousands of photographs and maps, and hundreds of reference and
historical sources. To search for photographs, click on the "select
none" button when you reach the main menu. Then click in the pictures box so
that a check appears in the box.
World Book Online Reference Center (available from home to all North Kingstown
cardholders)

This online version of World Book Encyclopedia allows you to search or browse the
encyclopedia by general category, by particular phrases or words, and by place. It
includes both the Americas and the International edition. Links within the articles
will bring you to maps, charts, video clips, animations, and magazine and newspaper
articles. To search for photographs, type in the name of the person, animal,
or object that you're interested in.
