Literature Resource Center (available from home to all NK cardholders)
Provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analysis of authors
from every age and literary discipline. The foundation of Literature Resource
Center is Gale Group's three well-known author databases: Contemporary Authors,
Contemporary Literary Criticism Select, and Dictionary of Literary Biography.
Gale's Literature Criticism, and For Students series are also included.
NoveList
(available from home to all NK
cardholders)
Search for novels by topic, or use a favorite fiction author or title to locate other authors and titles of
interest. NoveList also includes full-text searchable book
reviews, annotations, genre- and theme-based book lists, award lists, and book discussion
guides.
Books & Authors (available from home to all NK cardholders)
Explore the latest genre fiction, essential non-fiction, and the authors behind
the titles. Save your own reading lists, write reviews, and browse for new titles by
genre. Use the Read-A-Like wizard and Who, What, Where, When feature to find new books to
read.
What Do I Read Next? - Gale
(available from home to all NK
cardholders)
Search by title, author, subject, full text, time period, geographic location,
character and reading level to discover your next reading adventure. Follow the
series links to additional titles, use the Help Me Find a Book search to get
recommendations based on some of your favorite titles or topics, or let Gale's experts
recommend books that capture the type of book you're looking for. Includes fiction
titles, non-fiction titles, and author biographies.
Student Resource Center (available from home to all NK cardholders)
A general database for high school and undergraduate research, which includes the
following respected Gale products: Exploring Novels, Exploring Poetry, Exploring
Shakespeare, and Exploring Short Stories.
